Description: Here is a beautiful piece of Spanish treasure in jewelry form! This is a 1/2 reales, the smallest circulating denomination of silver coinage minted by the Spanish Empire during the 1600s. The coin has been set in a silver bezel with 14K gold prongs and bail at the top. The coin has wonderful details including a full cross with castles and lions, as well as the monogram PHILIPVS on the obverse.
