Description: This stunning 8 reales was recovered from the famous Lucayan Beach treasure in the Bahamas. While most examples are in a rough state of salt water corrosion, this example is one of the finest we have seen off the wreck. A well centered shield can be seen, along with 8 denomination, mint and assayers mark, as well as a beautiful cross. A very rare coin from a highly sought after wreck!
