Description: This choice 8 reales cob was salvaged off of an unknown shipwreck (possibly the 1715 Fleet or Maravillas) and has been encapsulated by NGC with a grade of Fine Details. The obverse has just enough details to make out the mint mark and assayer to help us pinpoint a date range, and the reverse cross side is simply beautiful! The reverse on this coin has beautiful toning and saltwater corrosion that makes the cross pop. A choice piece for any shipwreck or Spanish Colonial coin collector!
