Description: Presented here is a wonderful 4 reales cob minted in Mexico struck between 1636 and 1665. Most likely a ground find at some point, the surface shows remnants of tone from sitting in the ground for an untold amount of time. The surface is wonderfully preserved and is near mint state! A solid introduction piece or continued addition to a growing Spanish Colonial collector.
