Description: If you collect Spanish colonial coinage, you know the most unique of the silver coins you will see are the transitional type coins from the Potosi mint done in the 1650s. This coin has 3 visible dates and is actually mislabeled for the date range. A small 4 can be seen on the reverse date, barely visible but present making this actually a 1654 example. It is our opinion this coin is under graded as coins graded in the last 20 years had been much more scrutinizing.
