Description: This is a choice and extremely rare example of an 8 reales from the Lima mint in Peru. Not only is this coin tied for Top Pop in the NGC database, but it boasts three full 1694 dates, which is a very unique feature. The strike is well centered, with complete details on the obverse, with a well struck cross on the reverse. The original toning and eye appeal of this piece is superb and much of the mint luster is still intact. A perfect coin for collectors of Spanish Colonial coinage!
