Description: This Lima8 reales is a nice example that was purportedly salvaged from the HMS Association that wrecked off the Isles of Scilly in 1707. We are tracking down the cert from the original owner, so as of right now it is just the coin you see here. Lima coinage from this period is desirable in any condition, and are amongst the most sought after of the New World coinage. This piece has great centering, with a visible date and near full cross.
