Description: Presented here is a beautiful example of a 1714 2 escudos found on the 1715 Fleet wrecks! What makes this coin even more rare is the 1714 date to the left of the shield on the obverse. We rarely come across a full date on these 2 escudos, so the fact that this specimen has it present is a true rarity! This piece also has one of the most beautiful reverse sides you will ever come by. This has been one of our favorite pieces that we have come across in recent years and will make a wonderful addition to any collection of Spanish Colonial gold cob coinage or shipwreck treasure!
