Description: This chunky piece of eight is a great example of shipwreck treasure recovered from the 1715 fleet that sunk off of Florida. As you can see from our photos, this coin exhibits beautiful aqua blue toning, King Philip’s complete name “PHILIP” and a nice Jerusalem Cross. Spanish cobs are highly sought after, especially those from the 1715 Fleet and this example is outstanding.
