Description: This is a spectacular Dutch or possibly German made oak treasure chest with iron fittings! This chest is heavy, weighing around 30-40lbs, and is made of solid oak. Accompanying it, is it’s original iron key. Chests like these would have been used to transport gold and silver, documents, and other valuables. A magnificent example of a treasure chest that has survived over 350 years.
