Description: This well-preserved Spanish 8 reales cob displays a well centered and nearly complete shield on the obverse and a well struck “RS” representing the mint and assayer. The reverse displays a well centered cross with a partial castle and two superbly struck lions. This coin appears to be in a higher grade of preservation than most cobs we see and some of the original mint luster is still visible!

This cob is a perfect Piece of Eight for any Spanish treasure collection!
