Rare 1700’s to Early 1800’s Four Barrel “Duckfoot” Flintlock Pistol
Item #CC-0172| Rare 1700’s to Early 1800’s Four Barrel “Duckfoot” Flintlock Pistol
This is a rare “Duckfoot” flintlock pistol that was manufactured in England somewhere between the late 1700’s to early 1800’s. It was likely used by merchantmen, naval personnel, or pirates as the barrels are made of brass, which doesn’t corrode like steel when exposed to the elements.
The steel parts of the gun show signs of some light corrosion, which one would expect for a gun that was exposed to ocean air.
Overall this is a super cool and quite rare piece that you don’t see everyday!
