Description: A good surviving example from 1698! Known as a patards, or stuivers, these coins were minted at a time when the Netherlands were controlled by Spain.

Crowned cross of Saint Andrew bearing firesteel in centre, dividing the date, jewel of the Golden Fleece hangng below, Antwerp mintmark (hand) above.
