Description: This absolutely superb 8 Reales silver cob was minted in Mexico during the reign of King Philip III. To date, this is the finest specimen graded by PCGS!

This coin is nearly perfectly centered on both sides, the shield is complete, the assayer’s initial  and denomination are clear and just look at that gorgeous cross with complete castles and lions!  The overall eye appeal of this coin is superb and considering that it still has much of its original mint luster, it is likely under graded.

If you are a collector of Mexico silver cobs, you just don’t find them this nice and at this level of preservation.
